Changing Rules for 2011 Aetna HRA
Due to the influence of Health Care Reform, a few changes have been made to the way
your Aetna HRA functions concerning OTC medications. Effective January 1, 2011,
you’ll need a prescription if you want to use HRA dollars to pay for over-the-counter
medications. You can still use the Aetna HRA Debit Card for eligible OTC expenses,
like bandages and contact lens solution, but the card cannot be used for OTC
medications.
