Aetna ePrescribing Program
Writing prescriptions is becoming faster and easier with Aetna's ePrescribing Program. This program allows doctors to use a computer to write and send prescriptions safely and securely over the internet. Another benefit of this program is that you can share your Personal Health Record (PHR) with your doctor so that he or she may review your medical history and work with you to make the right decisions. Using your claims history, Aetna will look for wellness opportunities or safety risks that may need the attention of your doctor (e.g., two doctors prescribing two drugs that may not interact well).
Please note that your PHR cannot be shared unless you follow the links to share your PHR once you are logged into Aetna Navigator.
