Aetna: New Texas Small Group Plans Available
Aetna has added new plans to their Small Group portfolio in Texas effective November 1st 2009. The new portfolio includes Wellness on Us, Save a Copay program and changes to HSA plans.
Wellness on Us
Wellness on Us includes $0 copay in-network for preventative care. Routine vision screenings, routine physicals (one per 12 months and removed $300 max), child wellness visits, routine mammograms, routine OB/GYN visits and immunizations are all included!
Save a Copay program
With the Save a Copay program, members that use certain brand name drugs are encouraged to switch to the generic equivalent to see additional savings on their out-of-pocket expenses
HSA Changes
The out-of-pocket maximum for the new HSA plans has decreased due to removal of RX copays making the RX 100% after deductible.
