New Census Requirements for 7/1 Effective Dates
Beginning with 7/1 new business groups, UnitedHealthcare will require the actual number of dependent children
be noted on the census. This information is needed for UnitedHealthcare to calculate final rates. Please begin
providing the number of dependent children for each Family and Employee + Child on the census. We will assume
two dependent children for each family and employee child enrolled if the information is not known at time of quote.
However, please note that final rates may change based on the number of dependent children actually enrolling on
final submission.
This change is effective on Monday, May the 17th. The Insurance Exchange will have to re-quote any business
quoted for a 7/1 effective date that has the required information at that time (Monday). If you have any
