Aetna Extends Eligibility for Young Adults
Aetna has decided to extend dependent eligibility ahead of the health care reform schedule for those affected
young adults. Aetna will work with their customers to allow those young adults to remain on their parents'
plan until the dependent coverage requirements of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act go into
effect.
More information will be forthcoming as Aetna determines the process in which they will follow as well as
direction for plan sponsors.
