Easier, Faster Way to Pay Initial Premium
Businesses are always looking for ways to save time. That’s where Aetna’s Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) service steps in. It’s a simple, fast, effective approach. Plan sponsors don’t have to worry about sending a check with a new business case submission. After notified of plan approval, payment is deducted directly from the plan sponsor’s checking account, about one or two business days following receipt of the signed rate page. To take advantage of this service, plan sponsors complete a short form and submit with new business enrollment materials. Aetna only drafts the account for the initial premium. All future premium payments should be mailed to address on the Aetna invoice.
