COBRA Process Simplified
Debuting February 1, 2011, UnitedHealthcare customers will no longer be required to submit a termination for active coverage along with submitting a separate Qualifying Event Notice to COBRA. The termination can be entered directly into Employment eServices or through a UnitedHealthcare representative and COBRA will automatically receive termination records for both participants and dependents.
